Category: System resource issue
This system needs to rebooted to complete a pending update
This warning is issued when an update has been applied to the system that will not take effect until the system reboots.
When an update requires a system reboot to take effect, the previous software version will remain in use until the reboot can take place. This may mean that any security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the update are still present on the system, so the reboot should be scheduled as soon as possible.
While the sysetm is rebooting, any services it provides will be unavailable.
The only cause for this warning is an update has requested a system reboot in order to be applied.
To resolve this warning, reboot the system. The fmos reboot command can be used to initiate a system reboot.
