Category: System service problem
The glusterd service is not running. It has been explicitly requested to stop.
The glusterd service is part of the FireMon Security Intelligence Platform Database Server (DB) role on machines operating in multi-database mode. It is responsible for managing the clustered filesystem. This error indicates that the service is not running because it was explicitly requested to stop.
If the glusterd service is not running, the clustered filesystem will not be able to operate correctly. When Security Manager makes changes to files on the shared filesystem, such as normalized device configuration files, these changes will not be replicated to this machine.
The most likely cause for this issue is a failure to apply the FMOS Configuration Policy. If the fmos ecosystem enable-multi-db command did not complete successfully, it may have left the machine in an inconsistent state.
To find additional information about the issue, use the fmos logview command to view the system log (/var/log/messages) and the deployment log (/var/log/fmos/deploy.log).
Applying the FMOS Configuration Policy may resolve this issue. Use the fmos redeploy secmgr command to apply Configuration Policy for the Security Intelligence Platform (SIP). If any errors are reported, they will need to be addressed before the problem can be resolved.
