Increase the Data Collector Max Log Size

The default size of /var/log/firemon/dc/DataCollector.log is 100MB.  In situations where the log is rolling over to fast this log can be increased to a size of 500MB. 

This can be achieved by
1. Navigating to the server control panel (https://HostnameorIP:55555)
2. Toggle on the "Data Collector Max Log Size Field"
3. Input a value of 500MB.  Please note the field will need to have the MB. 
4. Stage and Apply Changes




The large file size will increase the disk space used by the DC logs to 2.5GB. The log partition (/var/log) is only 8GB.

You must ensure you do not allow the partition to fill with these larger logs and you should return the settings to default as soon as possible.
